A slideshow I (Jessi Lee Hebert) put together for my Paw Paw, Vernon Lee Duplantis.
Maw Maw Duplantis (Mary Ann Evans Duplantis) sat down in 1986 with her projector, slides, and old reels of footage. I (Jessi Lee Hebert) inherited the VHS tape in 2018 & backed it up to DVD & YouTube. This footage is about 1 & 1/2 hrs long (the full footage is 6 hrs long).
My MawMaw was really great at keeping photo albums & documentation of everything…she even wrote the dates she purchased things on the bottom. She passed away in 2006 & it is her love for family photos & genealogy that drove me down this path.
I miss & love her, dearly.
